This 2019-2020 school year, we are excited to debut a new two-semester program:

Fall Course: (September 9, 2019 – December 9, 2019) In the fall, the Petites will focus on playwrighting. After the students brainstorm short stories, we choose the elements of each story that excite us, make us laugh, or make us curious. Then, all together, we write a play using those elements, keeping in mind the building blocks of a story: who are these characters? What do they want? How do they get it, and what’s in their way?

Spring Course: (dates TBD, with showcase date determined by parent availability) In spring, the Petites will rehearse, produce, and perform their original work in a showcase for friends and family. No Petite is ever forced to take the stage if they are not comfortable! We have just as many opportunities to let our Petites shine behind-the-scenes.

Classes run every Monday, excluding holidays on 10/14/19 (Columbus Day), 11/11/19 (Veterans’ Day), 1/20/20 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day), and 2/17/20 (Presidents’ Day). Drop-off for parents begins at 3:50 p.m., with optional pick-up from Media Elementary available. (An after-school snack will be provided; please let us know before the first class on September 9th if your Petite has any allergies or dietary restrictions.) Pick-up is between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

    • Fall Semester – $350

    • Spring Semester – $375 (producing fee for showcase props, costumes, etc. included)

    • Both semesters – $650

      • If your Petite can commit fully to one semester but not the other (for example, all of Fall and part of Spring) and would still like to be involved in the showcase, please contact gianna@rawstreetproductions to inquire about a drop-in rate. (Drop-ins will only be available under these circumstances.)

  • Sibling discount also available! $50 off each additional student per family, per semester
